Level up your game at the Memory Lanes Esports Arena! Whether you’re looking to compete, practice, play with friends, or celebrate a special occasion, the Esports Arena offers something for gamers of all skill levels.

Throughout the year, the arena will host:

• Open Play sessions
• Tournaments and competitions
• Leagues and special gaming events
• Birthday parties and private rentals

Open Play opportunities are regularly available on weekends and select weekdays. Tournament schedules, league information, rental availability, and special events are posted on the Esports Arena Calendar.

Memory Lanes Facility Rules

To help ensure a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for all guests, please follow these facility rules:

  • Proper bowling shoes must be worn on the lanes.
  • One bowler on the approach at a time.
  • Bowling fees are non-refundable once play has begun.
  • Please remain on your assigned lane and do not cross onto adjacent lanes.
  • Do not cross the foul line (the black line before the lane). Lanes are slippery and crossing the line may result in a fall.
  • No running, rough play, fighting, or other disruptive or unsafe behavior. Profanity is not permitted.
  • Food and beverages are permitted only in designated areas.
  • No food or drinks on lanes or approaches.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except birthday cakes or similar items approved in advance by Memory Lanes.
  • Children (ages 12 and under) must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult (age 16+) at all times.
  • Please keep walkways and approaches clear. Sitting or standing in these areas is not permitted.
  • Equipment must be used properly and with care.
  • Side aisles next to the end lanes are reserved for staff only.
  • Restroom access is available to all guests; extended presence beyond reasonable use is not permitted.
  • Guests are expected to dress and behave in a manner appropriate for a family-friendly, public facility. Clothing with offensive language or imagery is not permitted.
  • Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are not permitted anywhere in the facility.
  • Memory Lanes staff may ask guests who are not participating in an activity or who are creating disruptions to leave the facility.
  • Management reserves the right to resolve guest concerns through credit, rescheduling, or refund at its discretion.

Safety Notice & Responsibilities

  • Bowling is an active recreational activity and carries inherent risks. Guests should exercise caution when bowling or using the facility. Falls or injuries may occur despite normal facility conditions.
  • Parents and supervising adults are responsible for ensuring children understand and follow all safety rules while in the facility.

Facility & Operations Notices

  • Memory Lanes uses automatic scoring and is not responsible for scoring or equipment malfunctions.
  • Memory Lanes is not responsible for delays, interruptions, or closures due to circumstances beyond its control, including weather, power outages, or equipment availability.
  • Memory Lanes is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property, except as required by law.

Respectful Use of Shared Spaces

  • Memory Lanes is designed for play, dining, competition, and community gatherings. Guests are asked to enjoy the facility by participating in an activity or utilizing facility services and to avoid lingering in walkways, entrances, or non-activity areas so all patrons can move freely and safely. Staff may request guests to relocate or exit areas to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. Individuals remaining in facility areas without a clear purpose related to these uses may be asked by staff to move to an appropriate area or leave the facility. Sedalia Parks & Recreation recognizes that bowling is a spectator sport and observers should be aware that their actions can negatively impact bowlers. Please be respectful. Abuse of the spectator privilege may result in removal from the facility.

Memory Lanes reserves the right to pause or end activities, limit access, or ask guests to leave for failure to follow facility rules. In some situations, a refund of fees paid may be provided as the sole resolution of a concern.

Children Ages 11 and Under

Children aged 11 and under must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult (age 16+) at all times while in the facility.

Youth Ages 12–15

Youth ages 12–15 may visit the facility without a parent or guardian (age 16+) only during designated after-school hours and must be actively participating in an activity.

After-School Hours (No Parent Required):

Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM

During this time, youth must be participating in an activity such as:

  • Bowling or other recreation activities
  • Esports play or tournaments
  • Facility leagues or programs
  • Facility rentals or parties
  • Dining in the facility

The facility is not intended to serve as an unsupervised hangout location. Youth who are not actively participating may be asked to leave until they are able to participate or are joined by a supervising adult.

Outside of After-School Hours:

Youth ages 12-15 must be:

  • Accompanied by a parent or guardian (age 16+), or
  • Participating in a scheduled program or event

Behavior Expectations

All youth must follow facility rules and staff directions. Disruptive behavior may result in removal from the facility and loss of access privileges. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring youth understand and follow facility rules when visiting the facility. Memory Lanes staff may ask youth who are not participating in an activity or who are disrupting the facility environment to leave the building.
