To register for our programs, stop by the Parks and Recreation Office or call (660) 826.4930.
Payment is required at the time of registration. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Late Registration Policy: If availability allows, and we accept registration after the deadline, a $5 late fee will apply to programs and a $20 late fee will apply to all leagues.
Permission to use Names/Images: Periodically, the SPR will take pictures or videotapes of participants while they are engaged in programs or while enjoying parks and other facilities. These photos may appear in Parks and Recreation brochures, website and publications. If you see a staff member or photographer taking pictures and you do not want your picture taken, please speak to the photographer and request your photo not be taken and deleted if necessary.

E-Sports Camp
Get ready for a few days of creativity, teamwork, and gaming in our new esports arena at Memory Lanes! This winter camp will focus entirely on Minecraft, giving campers the chance to build, explore, problem-solve, and compete in fun challenges together. Each day will include team-building activities, Minecraft-based missions, mini esports competitions, and open play in the arena. Campers will also take a break from the screens with bowling, giving everyone a chance to relax, socialize, and keep the fun rolling!

Summer Junior High School Volleyball League at the Heckart Community Center! Games will be from 5:30pm to 9pm on
Monday nights beginning June 1 to June 29. Two (2) games per night, ten (10) games guaranteed! All teams will be responsible throughout the league to officiate games to help keep costs low. Best record will receive league championship shirts for up to 10 girls. Cost is $150 per team.

Youth Baseball
Practices begin in April and games in May/June.
Youth Baseball is a recreation league that is divided into grade divisions and players are separated out on teams. Players practice for a month learning that skill sets and rules of baseball. After practices are over, players will then be given a game schedule. Game schedule will include 8 games (depending on amount of teams) and the games will be played until the beginning of July.

The Sedalia Parks & Rec. Youth Volleyball program is open to boys and girls designed to develop an understanding of rules, fundamentals, teamwork and sportsmanship. Practice will be held at the Heckart Community Center during the week beginning late August. Eight to 12 games will be played starting in mid-September, and the season will end roughly November 5. This league plays other towns so there will be traveling to Cole Camp, Green Ridge, Centerview, Windsor, and Warrensburg. In addition to 8 games two tournaments will be held on Fridays and/or Saturdays. Games and practices are mostly on Mondays & Wednesdays.
