To register for our programs, stop by the Parks and Recreation Office or call (660) 826.4930.
Payment is required at the time of registration. We accept Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Late Registration Policy: If availability allows, and we accept registration after the deadline, a $5 late fee will apply to programs and a $20 late fee will apply to all leagues.
Permission to use Names/Images: Periodically, the SPR will take pictures or videotapes of participants while they are engaged in programs or while enjoying parks and other facilities. These photos may appear in Parks and Recreation brochures, website and publications. If you see a staff member or photographer taking pictures and you do not want your picture taken, please speak to the photographer and request your photo not be taken and deleted if necessary.

This program is offered to anyone ages 19 years and older with a physical or intellectual challenge. This program
will be instructor lead along with volunteers or buddy’s and will teach the players how to play the game of basketball. This is a 4 week course and will be played at the Heckart Community Center.
Adult Kickball (Fall)
Remember playing Kickball in school? Get your teams together and join our Adult Kickball league on Wednesday
nights. Games are played at Centennial ballfields. This must be a team registered sports program. Organize a co-ed Adult Kickball team League on Wednesday nights.

Pickleball is a paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong; using a paddle and plastic ball with holes. It is a game that is appropriate for players of all ages and skill levels. Rules for pickleball are simple, making it a great introductory sport. Pickleball is offered to all ages playing at Heckart Community Center Gymnasium. Players must under 14 must have adult supervision on the court.

Welcome to our Intermediate Pickleball Class – Level 2 -the perfect next step on your Pickleball journey! This class will focus on drills, strategy, positing, and continuing to build skills taught in the Beginners Pickleball class.

Wanting to get into a fun summer adult league? Then Adult Softball is for you! This is a team registered sports program and players must be 16 years old or older. All games are played at Centennial or Hubbard Park. Leagues offered are Co-Ed Recreation and Intermediate on Monday nights, Men’s Recreation and Intermediate League on Tuesday nights, Thursday night Co-Ed Recreation, and Sunday night Industrial League.
