Adult softball games at Hubbard Ballfield are cancelled for Tuesday May 22. Ballfield Maint. tried all day but field conditions were just too wet from this weekend rain. Reschedule games will be posted at end of the season.

It is the mission of the Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department to offer an optimum number of recreation and leisure programs for citizens of Sedalia. Our goal is to provide facilities for enjoyment of recreation and leisure which are made available to the public.
The Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department oversees over 300 acres of park land and maintains 7 parks. Liberty, Centennial, Clover Dell, Hubbard, Housel, Katy, and Vermont Park. A wide array of sports, recreation activities, lessons and special events are available for citizens of all.

Plans are being developed for a new public plaza in The Avenues of historic Downtown Sedalia. Through the collaboration of Sedalia Downtown Development, Inc., the Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department, the Central Business and Cultural District and the City of Sedalia, the space can serve multiple public events and activities, as well as, green space for leisure enjoyment for those that live, work and visit on The Avenues.
