It is the mission of the Sedalia Parks and Recreation Department to offer an optimum number of recreation and leisure programs for citizens of Sedalia. Our goal is to provide facilities for the enjoyment of the recreation and leisure programs which are made available to the public.

The Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department oversees over 300 acres of park land and maintains 7 parks. Liberty, Centennial, Clover Dell, Hubbard, Housel, Katy, and Vermont Park. A wide array of sports, recreation activities, lessons and special events are available for citizens of all.
