Hubbard & Liberty Park basketball courts closed for painting

The Hubbard Park basketball courts will be closed starting today (9/23) for approximately 7-10 days to paint and line the courts.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Centennial Park parking lots closed M-F during Sept.

All Centennial Park parking lots will be closed during the week (Monday-Friday) from now until the end of September for parking lot seal coating and striping.  We apologize for any inconvenience.

Request for Statement of Qualifications (Hubbard Park Splash Pad)

The City of Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department will accept Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) for a splash pad at Hubbard Park until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Parks & Recreation Office, 1500 W. 3rd St., Sedalia, MO  65301.

The City of Sedalia reserves the right to reject any or all SOQ’s and/or waive any irregularities and select the SOQ best suited for the City of Sedalia Parks & Recreation Department.

Liberty Park Stadium receives AED donation

Covid-19 Guidelines

Playgrounds are now open but we remind patrons that playgrounds are not sanitized, use at your own risk. Please be respectful of others, be safe, and have fun! We encourage everyone to bring and use hand sanitizer often when in the parks and playing on equipment. Wash hands before coming and immediately after leaving. If you feel sick at all, please stay home!  Thank you for your cooperation!

Heckart Community Center building site closed to public

Due to work at the Heckart Community Center site (Liberty Park track & football field area), the area is now closed to the public.  For more information, please call the Parks & Recreation Office at 660 826-4930.
