2/15 and 2/16 Cancellations

Friday, February 15: Bootcamp classes scheduled at 4:30, 5:00, and 5:30 p.m. are cancelled.

Saturday, February 16: Superhero Party is postponed until March 23.

The lifeguard course scheduled for Feb. 15-17 has been cancelled.

Registered participants for these activities will receive information via email regarding makeup date details.

FEBRUARY 18: PRESIDENT’S DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Sedalia Parks Office will be closed Monday, February 18 in observance of President’s Day.

Pickleball will not be held.  Other activities will be held as scheduled.

Sweetheart 5K rescheduled

Due to icy road conditions, the Sweetheart 5K is getting postponed until February 23.

Late registration without a shirt is still open until February 22.

If you are already registered but unable to make it to the race on February 23, you can run a virtual 5K and show proof on any running app to receive your medal from the park office.

Lifeguarding Courses being offered

February 15-17 (register by Feb. 8)
March 15-17 (register by March 8)
April 12-14 (register by April 5)

Trout Season

In partnership with the Missouri Department of Conservation, the Liberty Park Pond will be stocked with trout on November 1 for the Winter Trout Program.  We expect the trout to be delivered approximately 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.  For more information on MDC trout rules & regulations, please visit their website or read this information sheet.
